After a competition process set up by the NAC Authority, ArchiLAB was selected to design the roundabouts and public realm for the diplomatic and business sectors of the New Administrative Capital. The designs produced by ArchiLAB are iconic landmarks that take a contemporary look at Egyptian history and culture and reinterpret them with modern architectural design and building techniques. The public realm strategy employed for this project uses ArchiLAB’s sustainability ideals to create landscaped walkable streets that are cycling and pedestrian friendly.
